Surely Europe's greatest Blues guitarist and a man who has inspired me and hundred's of people to share his love of the blues. I interviewed Rory in 74 and his generosity and sincere and friendly help will never be forgotten. A man who's music has given me so much pleasure and strength in the past 30 years. I will always love his passion for the music we both love, as many around the world who saw him share. A unique and modest man, almost shy off stage, private and reserved, he did not crave the spotlight, but the spotlight picked him out in a life that was cut short. Oh how we miss Rory and his wonderful music, his light has never diminished but the world although a richer place for knowing him is a poorer place without him.
